Why I started Veretto

I wanted buying or selling a home to feel like a milestone — not something to endure.

I have always been drawn to environments where performance, people and problem-solving come together.

I spent four years at Google, working in Ad Sales and seeing first-hand how technology, data and well-designed systems could make complicated experiences simpler and more effective. It changed the way I thought about businesses — and particularly about how much better an experience can become when you put the customer at the centre of it.

I later spent time in real estate, and that experience exposed me to a very different reality.

Buying or selling a home is one of the biggest financial decisions most people make, yet the experience itself was surprisingly unorganized. Information was fragmented, pricing was often difficult to understand, paperwork could be overwhelming, and there was rarely one person or one team truly accountable for the entire transaction.

For buyers, there was uncertainty around what they were actually buying, whether the price was right and whether everything was legally in order. For sellers, there was uncertainty around how their home was being marketed, whether they were reaching the right buyers and how long the process would actually take.

The more I experienced the industry, the more I felt the problem wasn't real estate itself. It was the way the experience had been designed.

So I started asking a simple question: what if buying or selling a home could actually be designed around the customer?

What if every home was properly checked?

What if pricing was backed by data?

What if the legal process was transparent?

What if someone actually took ownership of the entire transaction?

What if sellers didn't have to constantly chase people?

What if buyers could decide with confidence rather than uncertainty?

That question became Veretto.

Building Veretto

Veretto is my attempt to bring the structure, transparency and customer obsession I experienced in technology into residential real estate.

We are building a full-stack experience around the home transaction — from finding and verifying the right property, to understanding its true value, preparing it, marketing it and managing the transaction through to completion.

The goal isn't simply to sell more homes. It is to make the experience of buying and selling one fundamentally better. We want people to feel informed rather than confused. Confident rather than uncertain. Taken care of rather than left to figure things out themselves.

The athlete in me

Preparation. Details. Staying calm when the stakes are high.

Alongside my professional career, I have represented India in equestrian sport and competed at the Asian Games.

Sport has taught me things that have stayed with me far beyond the arena — preparation matters, details matter, consistency matters, and when the stakes are high, you need to stay calm and execute.

Buying a home is a high-stakes decision. It deserves the same level of preparation, attention to detail and accountability.

A home transaction should feel like a milestone. Not a process you have to endure.

You should know what you're buying.

You should know what it's worth.

You should know that the paperwork is right.

You should know what happens next.

And you should have someone taking responsibility for getting you there.

That's what we're building at Veretto.
